Our approach to learning in Reception classes, details of current projects and suggestions on how you can get more involved at home.
Our latest project is ‘Amazing Animals!’ (Monday 4th November to Friday 6th December 2019)
We will be exploring key stories around dinosaurs and jungle animals and finding out all about them. We will be creating a Stanley Green animal museum. To help make our animal museum interactive, we will be developing our creative skills to make dinosaurs and jungle animals. We will be also be using our phonic knowledge to write labels and captions to go with our museum pieces
Throughout the topic we will have lots of highlights including;
- Dinosaur modelling
- Dinosaur ice eggs
- Dinosaur dance!
- Collaging jungle animals
- Identifying and creating our own animal patterns
- Making animal handprints
- Creating a Stanley Green animal museum
Please come and join us on Thursday 28th November at 2.45pm to explore the Stanley Green animal museum!
At the end of our Mud and ‘Mini beasts’ project we held a Bug Ball! We all dressed up as bugs and mini beasts and had a great time together.
