The curriculum is delivered through the involvement of the children in a wide range of interactive and exciting experiences which are carefully planned to meet the needs of the individual. These experiences are provided by our enthusiastic, committed and talented team of fully qualified staff supported by the Governors of the school.
As part of our commitment to continually develop and improve the education we offer to our children, all staff are committed to their continuing professional development and regularly update their knowledge and expertise by attending In-Service Training courses.
The Senior Leadership Team
Mrs Angela Malanczuk | Principal, Stanley Green Infant Academy
I was born in Coventry but spent the majority of my childhood living overseas with my family in Lebanon, Italy and Singapore. I returned to England to complete my BA (Hons) and PGCE at Coventry and Warwick University. My teaching career began in Warwickshire twenty nine years ago and since then I have worked in a variety of teaching and leadership roles in schools across the Midlands and the South West.
Being Principal of Stanley Green for almost fifteen years has been a real privilege and it has been extremely rewarding being able to make a difference to the lives of the children. My work is pretty varied and not one day is ever the same as the next! I enjoy being able to work collaboratively with a great team of staff, governors and the local community to shape the future vision for education in our school in a time of significant and rapid change.
I have five children (two sons and three daughters). As a parent I understand how precious each individual child is and how important it is that every child should be given as many opportunities to fulfil their true potential.
In my leisure time I love reading, gardening, cooking, spending time with my family and friends, visiting historical places and exploring our beautiful local countryside and coast.
Mrs Sue Miles – Safeguarding and Welfare Leader/Company Secretary
As Safeguarding and Welfare Lead, I am responsible for the welfare of all children in the school and nursery and I am the lead of Emotional Literacy Support within the school (ELSA).
I monitor pupil attendance, supported by Mrs Punchard. I also liaise with the outreach Children’s Centre workers. I am available every day in the playground should you want to catch me and I am happy to meet anyone with a smile and a cup of tea! In my role as Company Secretary, I support the company directors and trustees with the administration for our Academy.
I have a daughter currently studying at University and a very lively dog called Marvin who keeps me busy with training and chasing around the local area. In my spare time i love to read and belong to a local book club. I love to potter in my garden and spend time with my family.
You will always hear me singing around school and I thoroughly enjoy my job.
Mrs Kirsty Jordan-Gill – Assistant Principal
I have been a teacher for many years and worked in Hampshire schools before coming to teach over ten years ago to teach at Stanley Green. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and leading the Reception and Starfish Nursery Teams as Early Years Lead. I am responsible for Curriculum Development and Reading across the school. As Assistant Principal I work alongside Miss Humber and Mrs Roberjot to provide continuity and assistance to the Headteacher.
I am married and have two beautiful daughters, we have a menagerie of animals at home and love spending time with them all. We love walking in the beautiful countryside and by the sea with our dogs Monty and Poppy and absolutely love going on holiday, enjoying exploring different parts of the world together. I love long distance running and have competed in the London Marathon and many half marathons.
Miss Laura Humber – Assistant Principal
I love my job and being part of the Stanley Green community. I am extremely passionate about the values and ethos of the school an promote this through my role as PSHE and behaviour lead. I have worked at Stanley Green for many years now and began my time here as a teaching assistant before completing my teacher training . Soon after, I returned to the school as a teacher and have worked across all year groups from Reception to Year 2 and Lead of Pupil Premium. I have also worked in a range of schools across Poole and spent some time teaching in Key Stage 2.
As KS1 Lead my current role is to oversee the day-to-day running of Year 1 and Year 2, including planning, assessment, school trips, organising topics and liasing with parents. I am also passionate about the wider events of the school, especially directing the end of Year 2 show, which is always a highlight.
I have a son who currently attends the school, we love to spend time out and about at the weekends and walking our dog and enjoying the sunshine.
