PSHE

We follow the Jigsaw PSHE programme, which includes Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) and fully meets statutory requirements. Through the six Jigsaw themes, children learn about friendships, wellbeing, diversity, healthy lifestyles, personal safety and managing change.

A special part of our Jigsaw journey is our weekly Friendship Certificate. Each week, we celebrate children who have demonstrated kindness, inclusion and positive friendship skills, helping to create a caring and supportive school community. This much-loved award reinforces the importance of treating others with respect and compassion.

Our PSHE curriculum is rooted in our school values of kindness, independence, teamwork and curiosity. We want children to understand themselves, value others and make positive choices. By nurturing wellbeing alongside personal development, we help children grow into resilient, caring and responsible members of their community who are well prepared for life beyond Stanley Green.
